Alright so..maybe I should pluralize that. The only eye PALETTES you’ll ever need. I have been using the Naked palettes from Urban Decay since the get-go, and I have to say, I have used NO other eye shadows. These palettes are just stunningly gorgeous and so versatile that they make anyone (even a makeup-inept dope like me) great at makeup. The colors are all different shades of shimmery beauty, and you can just keep piling them on and playing around until you achieve the desired look.
The original naked palette has shimmery-bronzed based colors, which are absolutely perfect for building a smokey eye. Basically this is a collection of all the colors we adore in the fall, so pile them on and keep the lip nude!
The Naked 2 is very similar, but updated with lighter shimmers and a great matte color called “Tease” that is basically my crease color, ALWAYS.
Naked 3 is quite literally STUNNING with rose colored shimmers that just make you feel like you’re painting luxury on your eyelids.
This look was created by applying UD primer, the shade “half baked” across the entire lid, a combo of “toasted” and “YDK” in the crease, and “tease” to blend all of the colors. I used “Foxy” on my brow bone and then lined my eyes with the shadow “blackout”. This was one of the quickest looks EVER!
These impromptu selfies were taken on my way out of my apartment so that I could send them over to Ali and Lindsay (my fellow makeup-loving girls) to show them what a good job I did! Haha. It’s only taken me a lifetime to gain some skill in makeup, and dammit I’m proud! I actually had my NYX Matte bronzer in my bag and applied that after taking these pics – so don’t worry, I didn’t look that ghostly all night.
I obviously have all three of these palettes, but any one will do you just fine. These shadows are too gorgeous not to have! Snag yours below and get to work
