Dude..It has been WAY TOO LONG since I’ve done a new fashion post.  Now that Spring has decided to officially show up, I’m excited to share all of the shopping I’ve been doing! ;)

Denim on denim.  You know the trend.  You’ve seen it not just this year, but in the last year or two as well.  The really, really amazing thing about this trend is that you can mix any combination and it will work.  Dark on top, light on bottom, vice versa, or even matchy-matchy is cool in some cases.

I think the most important tip I can give to rock this trend with confidence is to keep the fit loose.  This makes the look effortless, especially when paired with some cage heels for that girl on the go edge.  The jeans are a boyfriend fit, and the shirt is a size Large.  It gives that “borrowed from the boys” effect.  If you wear pieces that are too tight, it may end up looking like you should be wearing a tool belt.  Just sayin’.

Nothing like a picture capturing the awkward hand-to-pocket motion.

I’ve got a pastel colored petal necklace on & possibly one of my favorite watches I’ve gotten from working with Guess Watches.  It matches errrrrythang.

Anyone can wear this trend.  It’s so easy, breezy and comfortable!  Totally Babe on a Budget approved, as the whole outfit (minus the watch) will definitely ring under $100.

And for the sake of the topic, let me remind you of a big denim DON’T..I know this picture still haunts Justin Timberlake at night.
