Hey all! Fashion Friday yet again. As you read this, my mom and I are at an all-day open house event at NYC’s Random House, where we will have the chance to meet with magazine editors, bestselling authors and hopefully find some more inspiration in the health and wellness industry! Can’t wait to update you guys next week.
Anyway, last week I met up with my girl Raven to take some street style shots. Per usual, we had a blast. Nothing’s more exciting than finding a new friend in NYC that shares your creativity, passion, and sense of humor.
This outfit starts with a shredded chunky sweater. It can feel a bit bulky, I know (especially when you’re wearing a dress underneath with shoulder pads as I did..will not do so next time). So to balance out the bulkiness of the sweater, pair with a pair of tights and some leg-lengething booties.
Hard to lengthen my legs, I realize. Shorty problems. But you get the idea!
Cap it off with a fantastic hat. The scarecrow hat, as I like to call it. The oxblood color that is SO huge for fall looks perfect with a beige sweater.
I love tights in the fall because it can make a sweater perfectly dinner/bar/party appropriate.
Of course the detailing on the hat is just amazing. H&M last year for under $20!
What do you wear your scarecrow hat with?! Tag me in a pic
