With some recent time off, I’ve been able to utilize one of my seemingly senseless purchases.  In the spring the girls and I attended Fuzion’s big Beauty Bash.  There not only did they feature their products and expertise, but also local retailers.  It was here that I found the perfect sarong.

Just as right now I’m shopping for chunky sweaters and amazing boots envisioning myself snuggled in front of a roaring fire, in the spring everything I purchased revolved around thoughts of hanging out at the beach at days end.

I’ve said it before, I’m not the photogenic one in the fam, but give me a few vacation cocktails and a big pair of sunnies and I feel camera confident :)

I broke out with this baby last week at a day trip to Misquamicut beach in Rhode Island.  It was here that JJ and I decided to play with all the ways you could rock a sarong.  Off on another mini vaca last weekend, it made the trip to Nantucket.  It was here at the end of the day on a the chilly beach that I had the brainstorm to wear it as a scarf.  I absolutely love this wardrobe accessory!

I would say that if you’re going to purchase a sarong, the bigger the better.  I believe the bigger it is, the more options you have.

I’d say for $40.00 this is a winner.  What’s your favorite wardrobe accessory this summer?
