Hey all!  So, if you live in NYC or anywhere in our North Eastern area, then you know that we are currently experiencing the wonderful joys of Indian Summer.  Oh, it comes as no surprise.  Every year, way past Labor Day, we feel the heat and humidity of 85 degree days.. and then one day soon enough – BAM – it will be Fall.  This precious time will probably only last about 3 weeks max, and then it’s just a sleigh ride into the harsh, harsh winter.  I don’t know about you, but summer came, I had my fun, and now I’m ready for Autumn.  It may still be hot enough for the shorts, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t add Fall accents to our outfits to really get in the spirit.

A crisp, white button-down can still say “Fall” when paired with some kickass booties & a navy blue porkpie hat.  The ripped denim shorts still give it that laid-back feel.  I’m sorry, are we still in NYC? I’m kind of feeling like I’ve transported to Los Angeles.

Oh, the beauty of shooting outdoors.  No real “set”, ya just gotta make do with what ya got.  Clothes over a trash can? Check.  Flip flops off? Check.  Powdering my nose to get rid of the 80 degree sweat and shine? Check.  Thanks Raven for getting some behind the scenes :)

Walking from one location to the next….Styling in action, I called it.  :)

We can seemingly always find an issue with the weather in NYC; it’s too hot, it’s too cold, I have nothing to wear.  Blah, blah.  Make the most of it, girlfriend :)
