Okay, this post has been patiently waiting in the wings.  You all know that this summer was by far the craziest yet.  If you missed my early summer rambling post, here’s the skinny:  we purchased a new business, moved our home, the next day took a 2 week vacation, moved Ava’s home, came home for 5 days and spent 5 days moving Chloe into her new pad in Florida.  Whew!

I came home Wednesday, I feel like all I’ve been doing is a lot of packing, unpacking, repacking, repeat.  As usual my unpacking ended in a bit of laundry; that would be mine and everyone else’s that was home while I was away.  THANKS btw, seeing as I left not a stitch of dirty clothing behind.  Laundry complete, I begin putting it away and this little smile creeps across my face.  I quickly realize that I haven’t had a chance to enjoy the new house.  In this very moment I remember one of the many reasons I fell in love with it…..The Closets.  Yes, plural, I have two closets!  Plenty of real estate here, Mark has his own as well.

In my previously tiny closets, it seemed as if I had dozens of pairs of shoes, not anymore….actually looks like there’s room for quite a bit more!  I’m still a seasonal girl, not quite enough closet space to put everything out at once, but I don’t think I’d have it any other way.  This obviously is the summer stock.

Pretty soon, I’ll be doing my packing/unpacking routine for the fall.  This I don’t mind however, there’s a Christmasesque feeling I get every time I swap out my clothes.  It’s funny how instinctually we start longing for those warm billowy sweaters right about now.

Anyway, I thought I’d share my closets with you.  I kinda feel like for a girl, a closet upgrade should be a given with every new home.

Do you agree? What’s your closet like?  I’d love to know how you organize!
