At the beginning of the summer, I popped into my local fitness equipment store in search of a battle rope, it was then that I laid eyes on the Vicore Bench.  Genius!  That was my first impression.  You know I’m all about multi tasking, especially in your workouts.  Well this bench certainly does that.

Think of your Bosu ball on a bench.  Why hasn’t someone thought of this before?  Why haven’t I seen this before?  Why is this not in my gym?  A full sized workout bench that creates instability, I knew it had to be mine.

The drawback, not such a nice color.  It looks as if it could have come from the 70′s with the purple top and cream colored base, but who cares?  I’ll take it.  What I imagine it can do for you totally outweighs the color.

This was a floor model and on sale for $450.  I loaded it into my car, ready to go and right into my home gym.  I didn’t waste any time, I tried to do a v-situp with my hands in the air, ha!  No go, but I did successfully complete a set with my hands on the bench!  It was everything I’d hoped it would be.  A bonus, this model also inclines.

The Vicore bench is an investment everyone should make, especially if you’re in the market for a traditional bench.  This takes your workouts to the next level, challenging your core with every move.  You really feel all the additional muscles working while you’re doing the most basic of moves.  I’ve done everything on there you could possible imagine doing with your regular flat bench.  One of my favorites is this tricep dip.  Try doing that on there with your feet on a plyo ball, crazy challenging!

Now for even more great news on the Vicore bench, I’ve since been on their website and they’ve completely remodeled their products with a sleek new look and color scheme of black and grey.  So lucky you, you get the pretty version.  They have a few other products as well that look amazing.  I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase another piece of equipment from them.
