I thought I’d update you on my supplement progress since I’m 2 weeks into it.

This may not have been the best time to start this program to get true results.  In my business, May is one the most hectic and busiest months of the year 7 days a week.

I have managed to get to the gym at least 3 days a week, but not the anticipated 5 days.  I also haven’t put in the cardio time  I should.  I’ve decided not to beat myself up and instead look at the light at the end of the tunnel just a week away.

There are a lot of supplements in my package, I was a bit overwhelmed.  I decided to make a list of the supplements to make it easier to determine what should be taken with food or not, what times of day and how many to take if it’s a pill.  I wish the package came with something that made it dummy proof for people like me. I I did get some help from Igor, I had no idea what to do with the Casein.

Here’s my breakdown:

The CLA, L-carnatine, fish oil & vitamin all seem to be doing their jobs behind the scenes . I definitely have more energy and feel a bit clearer, but no physical affects.

Roxy Lean, whew, I thought I could handle it…no go.  I’m sure it is a stellar fat burner, but it’s not for me.  It says to take it on an empty stomach, which I did for the first few days.  I was so shaky that I felt l had to muscle through my morning routing and wait for it to pass.  I also got a really bad rash all over my body that disappeared over time. I timed the whole experience one day, it lasted 45 minutes.  Too long for me or anyone that is trying to be productive.  I also tried taking it with food, same results just not as severe.  Why did I keep taking it?  Well, I thought it might stop or I would get used to it.  When that didn’t happen, I ditched it for good.  I don’t need to loose anything so badly that I have to mess with my body that way.

The preworkout drink Assault, I’ve reduced my intake to half a scoop.  That has alleviated the tingles and certainly gives me a boost going into my workout.

The Xtend intra workout drink…love.  I’ve noticed such a difference in my workouts.  I have energy and stamina. It lasts for about an hour.

Myofusion probiotic protein in Banana Perfection…another product I love.  Tastes great, I have it right after my workout and usually mix it with Silk dark chocolate almond milk

Casein in Chocolate Cake Batter.  I’m not a huge fan of chocolate, but this is really good.  Mixed with water, I drink this 30 minutes before bed.  I wake up feeling great.  Flat stomach and not starving.

I usually workout in the morning.  I’ve noticed that taking these supplements does help to get me through a long day.  On another note, I went to the gym at 7pm on Monday and got home at 9, boy was I wired.  Not in a bad way, just boundless energy.  I know, had I not taken the supplements I would have been sound asleep.  I think I’ll skip the evening routine if I want to go to bed at a normal time.  I did get a fun project done though, I initialed my new workout book and studded a new pen with Swarovksi crystals :)  I felt like a kid.  I haven’t done anything mindlessly fun in forever!  But, I didn’t go to bed until midnight…no bueno!

To recap, I’ll continue to take all of the supplements except the fat burner.  I have noticed more definition, exactly what I want to achieve.  I’m going to give myself the month of June to really get on track and reap the benefits.  I’ll post a pick at the end of June.  Don’t get me wrong, I know this will be an ongoing process, but progress pics are what it’s all about.
