Helllooo lady birds! Are all you New Yorkers and New Englanders jumping with joy like I am over the warm(er) weather? I’m hoping within two weeks we’ll be seeing high 60′s.  Here’s hoping?

Anyway, if you’re as time crunched as I am lately, you need some quick workout ideas.  I’ve definitely been making it to the gym this week, however for only a max of 30 minutes at a time – better than nothing right? I haven’t been dilly-dallying either.  I cram in as many moves as I can that I know will be the best for my body.  Which brings me to the Ultimate Move, the walking pushup.  ARMS, CORE..This move will kill em’ both.

Start in a standing plank position and walk down to your elbows, one arm at a time.  Walk your way back up, except starting with the other hand.  (R,L,L,R)

NOTE: I look a little hunch backed here (talking about my back..the butt is here to stay) – don’t do that! In a plank you want to be in one, lengthy line.  Do it in front of a mirror if you have to.  Obviously I should have! ;)

Whatever it is you do at the gym or at home, take breaks every now and then wherever you are and bust out 20 reps of these bad boys (10 starting with right, 10 starting with left).  I’m telling you, you’re going to feel it!

So maybe you’re strapped for time and didn’t make it to the gym today..but if you’ve got even 5 minutes while dinner’s in the oven, perform this Ultimate Move!!!
