- 1 serving coco cafe coconut water
- 1 tbs natural almond butter
- 1 scoop chocolate whey protein powder
- 1/2 banana
- 2 tbs coconut flakes
Yesterday afternoon I had a much needed personal training session (it should really be called therapy) with Dorian at the Edge Fitness in Derby. He even guilted me into 20 minutes of HIIT cardio on the Precor. Yes, even I need a little push every once in a while.
I left feeling great. Thinking about what I’m going to have to replenish when I get home, I thought of my new friends at Coco Cafe. What kind of protein shake can I make with coffee flavored coconut water? Oh yeah, my wheels are spinning. I have coconut flakes, bananas, chocolate protein & natural almond butter. My thought process was, if this were ice cream, what combo would I want? It was delish! This one will definitely be in my rotation.
