First of all, let’s address the fact that I am at the age where my childhood friends are starting to get married.  I know, I know – this is a natural progression.  However, we still feel the need to always say “HOW did we get to this point in our lives already?!” It really is mind-blowing.  It’s also awesome! Sunday was Tishia’s bridal shower, and it was so nice to celebrate her and her fiancé, as well as see some of the old crew again! Friends for 15 years through our love of dance..these girls are more like sisters to me.

Post-shower, I got to spend the day at my dads.  Lots of wine, lots of pool-time, and lots of grilled food.  NEEDED.

Shrimp kabobs! So dang tasty.  We ate these so fast, it wasn’t long before we had to throw another round of skewers on the grill.

Grandma got to sit back for once and let us do the cooking, but she still made this awesome and fresh salad with veggies from her garden.  Grilled clams were also devoured! My first of the summer.

Loved throwing on this little “pool outfit” – crop top bikini with a striped skirt! Dad was all “Oooh, that looks cool!” haha.

Oh wait, I lied.  Grandma still made spaghetti pie.  If you’re not Italian, GET WITH IT.

The weather in NYC has been perrrrfect.

Been loving these turkey & brie wraps waaay too much lately.  I pretty much stop for one every time I go to work at Pure Barre.  Yum.

Grand Central! I’m guilty of taking its beauty for granted.  Seriously, the architecture in NYC is just insane.

The most epic sunset as Raven and I wrapped up our shoot last week.

Anyway, that’s all I’ve got for now!
