Hey all! Hope your Christmas weekend was fabulous! We had such a great time, and while I don’t have anything necessarily fun or useful to blog about (still going to ride the whole holiday-season-lack-of-posts thing another week), I wanted to at least provide you guys with something since you’re stopping by!
A last minute stop to Rolf’s was 100% in order. It is just not a Christmas season in NYC without a visit! Mulled wine hit the spot on a rainy day.
Christmas Eve was spent Seven Fishes style! I snap chatted the crap out of this meal, but didn’t actually get any photos! Fried scallops, calamari and shrimp, seafood salad, shrimp cocktail, STUFFED shrimps, clams, spaghetti in crab sauce..it was, as always, nothing short of amazing. Seriously my favorite meal of the year. Thanks Grandma!! We had pannettone, doughnuts that Chloe brought (also amazing) homemade blueberry cheesecake and assorted Italian pastries for dessert. The amount of calories over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day….I can’t. Worth it, though!
Loved this little guy that mom propped up on her bar table.
A Nightmare Before Christmas on Xmas morning! Perfection.
Our vibrant holiday table! It was really beautiful to come down to that in the morning.
And of course, rum spiked egg-nog! Deeeelish. This was probably my favorite Christmas yet. We were relaxed, grateful for each other and ready to have a good time! The amazing gifts we all exchanged just added to it!
In case you don’t hear from me before Thursday, HAVE A SAFE AND HAPPY NEW YEAR! I’ll be back with posts in 2016
