Morning Ladybirds! It’s Friday..woot woot.
I have no idea how I’m going to spend my day, and let me tell you..I’m not complaining. I’m in one of those moods where I feel like the city is my oyster…Central Park, a visit to the Met, an outdoor lunch with a glass of wine and a book..? Who knows, but I’ll be sure to let you know how it ends up.
My breakfasts these days have pretty much been looking just like this..
Ezekial Toast w/ Almond Butter and Banana, 2 eggs OE, and a handful of grapes. Paired with French vanilla tea w/ splash of coconut milk and 1 packet Stevia (I am obsessed with this tea combo). This breakfast keeps me full for quite some time.
I’m thinking that for my next meal today I’m going to make protein pancakes..yuuuuuum.
Also these days I’ve been trying to dive into my magazine stash. So far I’ve only gotten through Fitness mag..haven’t even opened the other ones. Possibly on my list of things I will do today..?
On Wednesday night, before heading out for the Giants game, this bissful little moment happened..
Browsing on the lap top, a glass of wine, and GREASE. I have been utterly obsessed with John Travolta/known every word to this movie since I was 4 years old. Any time I see it on TV my mood does a 180. Hopelessly devoted to yoooouuuuuuu….
Yesterday I did a little thrift shopping JUST BECAUSE. I was in East Village picking up a check from my douchy ex management company, and figured since I was down there it would be a shame not to pop into my favorite thrift. You dig my logic, right?
I got 6 different pieces and 1 necklace for $114. Babe. On. A. Budget. Beyotch.
The pants are pleather and the top is Helmut Lang. I can’t wait to actually put this outfit together and show you better pics..The shirt from the back looks soooo slinky and dope.
Last but not least for this morning my friends – a dose of my sarcasm.
I saw this ad on the subway when I was up entirely too early for my liking thanks to a dentist appointment. I tilted my head and thought “Well gee, thank goodness I saw this sign because I can’t even tell you how many times I thought about “surfing” the NYC subway for shits and giggles”. Seriously, are there people out there that get the urge to surf the train?! If you are out there, tell me, and I will shut up.
I’ve decided my first stop of the day will be Barnes and Noble. A coworker told me about “Gone Girl”, and after having looked it up, I decided I’m going to go buy it. Have any of you guys read it?
Have a lovely day
