Heeeey there. Happy Wednesday! Just thought I would do a midweek check-in on some “new-ness” that’s going on for me lately!
Keeping up on having green smoothies: definitely new. I usually go through so many waves of juicing/making smoothies. I’ll be all about it for a hot second, and then I will stop. But now that I’ve got a busier schedule, getting use of my NutriBullet has become a MUST. My go-to is spinach, apples, blueberries, and pineapple. It’s so easy to get down, and there is a LOT of spinach (veggies in a pinch).
OK, I guess laying in the park isn’t exactly new for me..as I’ve been getting it in just about whenever I possibly can.. but taking my yogurt bowl mobile, bringing a mag, and just zoning out and relaxing for an hour IS new. I love going to the park with others, but if I’m equipped with the right stuff, it can be just as amazing if I’m by myself.
Morphe brushes! I have been seeing these all over Instagram, and they are so dang cheap that I had to give them a whirl. I just bought a ton of Sigma and Real Technique brushes not too long ago, so I’m not going to lie and say that I NEEDED these. Regardless, I am excited to try them!
The best new-ness of all – I have a new job with Pure Barre! Thank you sooo, so much for all of the love on FB and IG, it really meant a lot to me. Pure Barre is honestly the one workout in all of my 6 years living in Manhattan that has reminded me SO much of my dance days. Everything from being in the studio, the atmosphere and vibe of the company, to the workout itself. I finally feel like I am getting my dancer physique back, which is only icing on the cake! I am a very “gut” oriented person, so I pretty much knew from the get-go that I wanted a piece of the action with this company, and I am thrilled that everything has worked out! The girls are all so welcoming..It’s really nice to be back on a “team” again
P.S. For more info on Pure Barre (as in – what the heck is Pure Barre?!), visit the website! And TRY A CLASS! I’ll be working at NYC’s Union Square location for the time being.
Finally, I wasn’t at work during an epic sunset. This city, I tell ya.
Also new: BOOKS. Had to get my geek on at Barnes and Noble after my Pure Barre shift on Monday. Harlen Coben is always a good, quick read, and Lisa Unger has that twisted and mysterious style of writing that I just can’t seem to get enough of.
I hope to get a fashion post in this week, as I have tons of cool outfits and such little time to shoot them!
