Hey there! We’ve got info for you about a great event that Women’s Health Mag and the Feed Foundation are holding in NYC on Sept 22 – but FIRST – a quick recap of my day off yesterday.

I had a productive day of gym-going, laundry-doing (orrrrr picking it up), getting a massage and bakery hopping.  Yes, bakery hopping.  The vegan/gluten-free variety.

The first stop was Vegan Divas, an Upper East Side bakery that I was drawn to because I was simply CRAVING cheesecake.

Love that the doors open up to the breezy street!

Um, drool.

In the end I went for a slice of raw vegan Passion Fruit cheesecake & Espresso Macchiato

Just a 14 block walk away I hit Pip’s Place, a gluten-free bakery that I’ve walked by 1,000 times but never tried.  Welp, now I can say that is not the case! I tried a choc chip cookie (to DIE for), an oatmeal raisin cookie sandwich, and a “Magic Bar”, which was some sort of half-cookie half-brownie goodness.  Um, no judgments, please.

Hiiiiiiii K, thanks.  Now that I re-lived my gluttonous moments, let’s talk about a cause that aims to fight domestic hunger.
